DT126 Deck the House

"Deck the House" is an elegant set of designs that you'll love for years to come.  From a set of table linens in the kitchen, to a pair of throw pillows in the living room, to a quilt in the bedroom, these stylish designs can be used all over your home.  Embroider in red and green to give that Christmas feeling all year, and the hearts are perfect for Valentine's Day or any time of year.  They also look great in monotone.

The 21 squares below are each 2.37 x 2.37 inches (60.2 mm).

The squares above are exactly the same size.  They can be used as square coasters, or put together to make a table runner, placemats, wall hanging, or quilt.
These small designs are perfect accent designs for corners and borders on your linens.  Some can even be used for sock cuffs, bookmarks, or other small items.

Here's some photos of items one of the Diamond Stitchers created with these designs

Pocket Holder was made using felt and Wet-N-Set stabilizer.  After embroidering the design, she removed it from the hoop, and cut it out.  Next, she placed another piece of felt in the hoop, and used her own border to mark the outline.  She placed the embroidered design on the placement marks, and embroidered around the edge.  Can be used for silverware, as in the top photo, or as a napkin holder, as in the bottom photo.

This quilted Candle Jar Wrap adds a warm, cozy feeling to your centerpiece.
This Diamond Stitcher digitized a quilted design with a satin-stitch rectangle border.  Next, she hooped Wet-N-Set backing with felt, and embroidered her design, and added two "Deck the House" designs on top of that.  A ribbon was attached by the border.  She made two rectangles, and tied them around the candle.

This design was made by one of the Diamond Stitchers, using a round lacy border design that she already had.  She used Wet-N-Set backing, and felt.  After embroidering the center "Deck the House" design and a circle running stitch, she trimmed away the felt, and stitched the lacy border and satin stitch circle.  After removing from the hoop, she washed away the backing.

These designs match the small bottle aprons.  If you would like to use the large bottle aprons or the soap bottle aprons, you can use the small designs from this set on the blank aprons, to make them match.
