Baby Shoe Instructions
For newborn baby or dolls, digitized by KaRon Barton.  Back by demand, this design was originally digitized in 1998 by KaRon, and is shared here with her permission for you to download and sew.  The instructions are on this page.  If you are interested in more baby shoe patterns, please visit http://www.heartnsole.com

Hoop fabric and polymesh stabilizer together in 5x7 hoop.

Embroider design.  Trim fabric along outlines around the top edge of the shoe.  Be careful to not cut the polymesh.  Place the hoop back on the machine, and sew the satin stitch border along the top edge.  Embroider the baby's name or date of birth on the sole.

Cut out the design.

Place right side together, and pin the center of each piece together.

Start at the middle point on the toe, and baste towards the heel, then start at the middle again, and sew the other half.

After you hand stitch it, reinforce the stitches on the machine, and sew the heel closed.  Turn right sides out.

Use a needle with a large eye to thread a ribbon through the eyelets on the shoe, and tie into a bow.
